Few acts posses the innovative character and diverse repertoire of Los Angeles’ fastest rising name in bass. Dylan Ragland took the name Party Favor in 2011 to bring a series of unexpected influences to electronic music. The result: an effort that helped to pioneer the festival trap genre, turn heads across the globe and land him a spot on Bombsquad Records where his debut EP charted instantly on Beatport. His first single “Meow” went on to land a Top 10 spot months later, and now "Prince", his latest single, is currently on Beatport making it to the Top 10 within its first week. He continues to jump between groundbreaking collaborations that are twisting genres and creating ingenious records.
Taking to stations such as Power 106 to record mixes, and events put on by Insomniac, Disco Donnie Presents, and SFX to perform, he finds his platforms getting larger each month. Now, with official work on Spinnin, Ultra, and Mad Decent Records, Party Favor is quickly approaching 100,000 followers.
Party Favor’s music continues to reel in millions of plays and gain support during iconic sets such as Jack U’s debut at Ultra Music Festival, Skrillex at SXSW, and Carnage at Coachella Music and Arts Festival. As well as consistent support from Diplo, Borgore, Krewella, Tropkilliaz, Mix Master Mike, Bro Safari, UFO!, DJ Snake and more.
Keep an eye out for Party Favor on festival line ups, official remix EPs and tours through till the new year!
