Roel Salemink

Biography Roel Salemink & Drumcomplex(MB Elektronics, Phobiq, Deeperfect, Bush Rec)BiTurbo with direct fuel injectionDrumcomplex & Roel Salemink are two turbo-loaders combined for BiTurbo, acting like an afterburner on a jet plane, never running out of kerosene. Like a direct fuel injection, the breakthrough duo pumps flawless techno into the combustion chambers of the hottest clubs. Whether it's with their own productions, remixes or as a hybrid DJ live set duo, the pressure builds until any dance floor playing this German-Dutch duo's music is fit to burst.... It all began innocently enough, when Roel booked Drumcomplex for his "Magnifique" party in Holland in 2006. Although the two musicians came from different countries, they actually only lived 10km apart, and what began as geographic proximity soon became mutual empathy. The period that followed saw considerable success for Roel with various tracks, including a number one on Beatport with the record "Manalive" on Bush Records. At the same time, Drumcomplex was enjoying his own successes, so at the end of 2011 the pair decided to try their luck as a producer team. They didn't have to wait long for moments of shared success in the studio, and so decided to take their work to the wider public."Thrilling, melodic and energetic" was the concept behind the productions, which first came out as an EP on Marco Bailey's label MB Electronics at the end of 2012. T he pair have since become known for their catchy hook-lines coupled with percussion and kicks that storm the dance floor like a cavalry brigade and blast away anything that stands in the way of the speakers with maximum impact. And where else could such a phenomenal workflow end in 2013, but once again in more EPs and remixes on the best labels the techno market has to offer: Phobiq, Driving Forces Recordings, MB Electronics, Deeperfect and Blue Fin. So it's no wonder that not only labels, but clubs too, are fighting over these two all over the world.
